Oshoala Hits Brace As Nigerians Paint Europe With Goals

Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala scored twice as Barcelona Ladies hammered Real Madrid 4-1 in league clash.

It’s the second time the Nigerian is hitting a brace this season, after her double against Rayo Vallecano.

Oshoala netted Barca’s third and fourth goals in the 37th and 70th minutes respectively.

In England, Everton winger, Alex Iwobi, was in action for 63 minutes in his team’s 2-0 loss to relegation-threatened Newcastle United.

Semi Ajayi was in action for the entire duration in West Brom’s 2-2 draw against fellow strugglers, Fulham. His compatriots, Ola Aina, Tosin Adarabioyo and Ademola Lookman, were in action for the Cottagers. Aina was replaced by Kenny Tete in the 81st minute.

Super Eagles target, Eberechi Eze’s lone goal was enough for Crystal Palace as they ran out 1-0 winners over Wolverhampton Wanderers. The skillful midfielder scored in the 60th minute, his third goal of the season for the Eagles, who claimed their first league victory in four games.
