The management of Lekki Deep Sea Port, Lagos says the construction of the port is 66 per cent ready.
This came as the Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives in Lagos State, Dr. Lola Akande, has commended the management of Lekki Deep Sea Port on the level of work done on the construction of the port.
The commissioner who was accompanied by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Commerce and Industry, OladeleAjayi, and the Managing Director of Lekki Worldwide Investments (Lekki Free Trade Zone), Dr.TundeSodade, stated this during an inspection visit to the site by a delegation from Lagos State.
She conveyed the message of the governor to the team of the great work they are doing,saying the governor is highly impressed with the progress of work.
The Managing Director, Lekki Deep Deep Sea Port, Du Ruogang, lauded the state government for its support and assured the commissioner that China Harbour Engineering Company and Tolaram was fully committed to delivering the first deep seaport in the state, given its importance in attracting investments.
